The Birtle Miniota & District Development Corporation is an independent non-profit organization that plays a significant and diverse role in supporting economic and community development initiatives throughout the region.
The Birtle Miniota & District Development Corporation (CDC) was formed on April 15, 2019, when a strategic planning process was launched to align growth-oriented goals with Prairie View Municipality and the communities within its boundaries. The organization aims to foster engagement by delivering a comprehensive approach to the community-wide services it provides.
The Board of Directors is appointed by Prairie View Municipal Council and represents a cross-section of community stakeholders and municipal representatives. Board members believe that by prioritizing community engagement, economic advancement, and support for local businesses, the municipality will continue to thrive. We are always open to fresh ideas and new voices, and we encourage residents to share their input by completing the “Community Voices” survey found under the Birtle Miniota CDC tab!
