1. Provide organizations with a low-cost alternative for promoting their events and initiatives. Articles submitted in an editorial format are published free of charge. Non-profit organizations generally receive complimentary advertising when they submit their own ads. Businesses are also welcome to submit articles at no cost; however, paid advertising rates apply for traditional advertisements.
   
   
2. To provide one central place where people can learn what's happening across the region and where organizations can share their news directly with the community. The Outlook currently has 235 online subscribers. We share content on Facebook and our print copies are distributed throughout Birtle, Miniota & Foxwarren. 4. Many of our subscribers are past residents who enjoy staying up to date on the communities they once called home. We know our newsletter reaches neighboring communities whose residents also appreciate staying informed about local happenings. This sense of connection is one of The Outlook's guiding values.
